With an iconic clubhouse 'The Couch', TC IJburg is a special and young tennis club in Amsterdam. Since the introduction of the tennis ladder in 2018, 230 participants are now playing around 50 matches every week.
We ask Ynse Stapert, vice-president of TC IJburg, about the secret of their success: 'We now have about 1,100 members, of which 365 are youth members. The uniqueness of TC IJburg is the beautiful location, the special clubhouse and the many playing members.
The success of the ladder is due to the intensive introduction, mainly by word of mouth, and the super convenient and accessible app.'
